| Content Description | New graduates in Estonian community. Laani Heinar was born on February 11, 1992 in Toronto and received her secondary school education at Wexford Collegiate School for the Arts in Toronto. In May of 2014 Laani graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Halifax, where she majored in textile and fashion design with a minor in art history. Laani is continuing her work with textiles independently, while also taking further courses in graphic design at OCAD University in Toronto. She is a member of the Society of Estonian Artists in Toronto (Eesti Kunstnike Koondis Torontos) as well as a member of the Estonian women’s academic association Korp! Amicitia. |
