| Content Description | The ‘Slonny Cup’ rhythmic gymnastics competition at the just built Pan Am Centre in Markham was held. Its chief organizer was world champion Janika Mölder. Slonny is a manufacturer of gymnastics attire in Estonia. The competition is the continuation of the first ‘Slonny Cup’ in Tartu in 2011. The current competition was planned by Janika Mölder and Kalev Estienne’s Evelyn Koop, an initiative called “Two Continents, Pone Passion which reflect a Canadian-Estonian partnership in the sport. Participating at the event was Ritmika gymnasts led by Anneli Riga, and involved in preparations were Ülle Träss and Helle Varrik. |
