Always a community activist in Lakewood, NJ, Irene Verder has been a leading figure in numerous organizations, never shying away from hard work. Her birthday with friends at the Lakewood Estonian House included guests from Canada, niece Helle-Mall and her husband Tõnu Tõsine, daughter-in-law Silvi Verder and grandsons Vello and Margus Verder. On Sunday, Rev. Toomas Vaga at the Lakewood Estonian Holy Spirit Church service blessed Irene wishing her many more productive years. |
