| Content Description | Archbishop emeritus Dr. Andres Taul. 1936-2018. On April 23, 2018 Bishop Andres Taul (formerly Archbishop of the Estonian Lutheran Church in exile) passed away. Prior to the unification of the Estonian Lutheran Church abroad and its counterpart in Estonian, Dr. Taul had been the archbishop of the former. His outstanding contribution to the Church and society has been recognized with the Presidential Red Cross, the Lutheran Church's First Class Achievement Award, and Award for Lifetime Work, and an honorary doctorate from Tartu University. |
