| Content Description | On the occasion of the 99th anniversary of the Peace Treaty of Tartu the graves of two of the Estonian statesmen negotiating the treaty with Communist Russia, were decorated with candles memorializing their efforts in striking a successful agreement with an aggressor state. The Treaty is a cornerstone of Estonia as an independent republic. Jüri Trei, president of the Estonian Flag Society lights a candle at the grace of Jaan Poska. Julius Seljamaa was similarly honoured. At the opening of a memorial to Seljamaa in Sindi, Trei, Trivimi Velliste, Toomas Kiho and Urmas Saard addressed the public on the occasion. |
