| Content Description | Snack break for a circle of hikers wearing “lumeräätsad” (snowshoes) on frozen Matsalu Bay, half way between Haapsalu and Virtsu on the Estonian west coast. Perhaps they're eating “läätsed” (lentils) and wearing them as well (“kontaktläätsed” = contact lenses, not contact lentils). Snowshoeing as well as skating hikes (“uisumatkad”) are very popular on the Estonian sea and frozen lakes. |
