| Content Description | Thirteen members of Washington D.C.'s Estonian dance group, Pillerkaar, traveled to Norfolk, Virginia on April 27 and 28 to take part in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization's Norfolk NATO Festival. Sponsored by Estonian Liaison Representative, Army Lt. Colonel Aivar Toom, the group attended the Virginia International Tattoo ceremony of military bands, appeared on the Estonian float for the Parade of Nations in the streets of Norfolk, performed twice during the NATO Festival celebration at Norfolk's Town Point Park, and danced some polkas and waltzes with to the lively string Slovakian string band. |
