| Sisuline kirjeldus | After WWII with thousands of war refugees of Estonian, Latvian and Lithuanian descent in internment centres all over West Germany, it became apparent there was a crucial need for a higher education institution for those who had their post-secondary education interrupted or those who wanted to proceed with their advanced schooling. At a recent screening of the film “Balti University” at Tartu College the organizers were: Jüri Kivimäe, Producer of the film Helga Merits, Arnis Kuksis, Piret Noorhani, Andris Kesteris, Marika Mayfield, Andrejs Kulnieks. Helga Merits was also present in Ottawa at the screening of her film at Ottawa's annual Bright Nights Festival. |
