Sisuline kirjeldus"Klarissa kirjad" (Klarissa's letters), a new play that opened in Pärnu in July, has received warm applause from critics and audience alike. The play is based on letters between politically captive Elmar Pajo and his wife Klarissa, the Soviet Union and Canada. They symbolize the determination of one who longs for freedom and one who dedicates herself to nudging that possible freedom closer as the years go by. Elmer, an officer in democratic Estonian's military and Klarissa, a mother who, with her son, was able to escape the communist invasion of Estonia in 1944 are eventually reunited in the West. This is a story that deserves its own stage production. The play was written and directed by Tiit Pajo. From the left: Maret Pajo, Piret Laurimaa (Klarissa), Rein Pajo, Sepo Seeman (Elmar).
