| Sisuline kirjeldus | In keeping with the theme of the 100th anniversary year of Estonia's Independence, participants at the Estonian Business Club's annual St. Martin's Day get-together in November were to focus on something tied to Estonia. This time it was apparel. Using the tri-colour was an obvious choice as was folk-dress, Estonian patterns etc. Tõnu Altosaar captured first place for men by wearing an authentic Scottish-style kilt, with duly designed and registered "Estonian" tartan in Scotland and a traditional Estonian shirt. Ellen Loite took the women's prize with a stylish outfit recognizable Estonian features. Club members enjoyed roast duck, a singing competition between tables and a milieu of Estonian photos and posters decorating the room at the Estonian House. |
