| Sisuline kirjeldus | From the left: Violetta Ostmann, her schoolmate from pre-war Tallinn, Aino Rosenberg and Violetta’s daughter Julia DeSotto. The occasion was Ms DeSotto’s one woman play “I remember Mama” performed at Tartu College on February 10, 2013. Brought up in an Estonian-Italian family setting, Ms DeSotto has captured the bi-cultural dynamics of a mother-daughter relationship in a stage production and that has been presented at various different venues. It was poignant that Ms Rosenberg and Ms Ostmann renew an old friendship that reaches back some 70 years at the performance of the latter’s daughter. |
