The journal is issued by the National Archives with the support of Estonian Cultural Endowment\u00a0and in co-operation with Tallinn City Archives and\u00a0the Association of Estonian Archivists. Four issues are published every year. An essay, three to five longer articles\u00a0are written mainly by historians, but also literary historians and cultural historians, the description of new documents with comments, a series of reviews and overviews are published as well as\u00a0the photos of the Film Archives please the eye in every issue. In addition to the main issue, should the possibility arise, special issues in a foreign language are published. So far issues in Russian and English have been published.<\/p>\n<p>The contents with a summary in English of the published issues and the full texts of articles from the earlier releases (1998-2015) are available <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ra.ee\/tuna\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">on our Estonian-language webpage<\/a>. The journal is available for purchase in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ra.ee\/vau\/index.php?page=WebShopPage&amp;p=1&amp;LinkId=ServicesListPortlet_140\">webshop<\/a>, from the archives in Tallinn and Tartu and in larger bookshops.<\/p>\n<p>The journal is peer-reviewed. Articles submitted for publication are considered by the Editorial Board and then forwarded to two anonymous peer reviewers.
