A limited number of seats available in the reading rooms from 11 May
Dear users and visitors,
Starting from 11 May, the National Archives provides a limited number of seats in the reading rooms in Tallinn (Madara 24) and Tartu (Nooruse 3). First and foremost, we wait for students and researchers to visit the reading rooms, and we kindly ask all the other guests to be patient and use our wide digital services online.
Before visiting the reading room in Tallinn, everyone is asked to fill the online form by marking time of the visit together with visitor’s first and last name. In Tartu, the reading room can be visited without the registration. Reading rooms in Tallinn and Tartu are open from Monday to Friday 9–17, closed on Saturdays. Before visiting the reading room of the Film Archives (Ristiku 84, Tallinn), please turn to the archives: filmiarhiiv@ra.ee, +372 6938613.
In reading rooms, the seats are placed by following the rule of 2 metres distance. Also, disinfection liquid for hands’ cleaning is available in reading rooms, and cleaning of working seats will be carried out regularly.
Please use the doorbell while accessing the archives’ buildings in Tallinn and Tartu. During the limited working practices, payments for orders cannot be submitted in cash. An interarchival loan service will presumably continue in June, it will be informed in detail as soon as possible.
If there is any question or concern, please turn to us: tallinn@ra.ee, tartu@ra.ee, +372 7387500.
Yours,
The National Archives
