The National Archives of Estonia on Flickr Commons

The National Archives of Estonia is participating in The Commons on Flickr to give our photographic collection a wider audience. We also invite the public to help us enhance our existing descriptions. Our primary tool for describing photographies and making them accessible to the public, is our photo database FOTIS.

The photographs on Flickr Commons are published under the license “no known copyright restrictions”. We implement this license in accordance to the Estonian Copyright Act § 20 (3), which allows memory institutions to make their holdings public for the promotion of their collections.

The images are intended to be used for personal, educational and research purposes. We ask You to make a source reference to our collections when republishing the images. Please contact us for commercial use and high quality digital copies. Please be aware that copyright restrictions and fees may apply.
