The interarchival loan service allows records to be temporarily exchanged between the branches of the National Archives of Estonia in Tallinn (except the Estonian Film Archives) and Tartu. Reading room visitors can use records held at another branch. The service is governed by the Reading Room Rules of the Estonian National Archives.

Interarchival loan services are unavailable during the summer, from 20 June until 1 September.
